Obesity is increasing worldwide, and efforts to treat obesity are ineffective in the long term. Therefore, the focus shifts to public health treatment to prevent obesity. So far, very little research has been done in this area, but a new study published in the British Medical Journal (BMJ) says that to prevent weight gain, everyone needs a little support from the community.

Many experts in weight loss and life advice for people wishing to lose weight to involve family and friends as a support system, but the BMJ study is among the first to quantify the role of a support sites system in the prevention of weight gain and changes in lifestyle. The study evaluated 250 mothers of young children in a community in Australia. Initially, the average age of mothers was 40 years and body mass index was 28. (A BMI between 25 and 30 were classified as “overweight.”) The women were assigned to an intervention group or a control group, based in the schools their children attend.

The intervention group attended four group sessions that provide interactive information strategies for healthy living to improve health habits, and group discussions. The intervention group also received support, personalized text messages each month. The control group attended a non-interactive conference that presented the population according to dietary guidelines and physical activity. After 12 months, weight changes were compared between the two groups as well as cholesterol and glucose levels, dietary habits, physical activity and self-management behavior. In general, women in the control group gained 0.83 kg (1.83 pounds) while the intervention group lost 0.20 kg (0.44 pounds). The intervention group also improved cholesterol profiles, dietary habits and activity levels. This group also expressed more confidence in weight control than the control group.

Preventing weight gain is an important step in reducing the burden of chronic diseases associated with obesity. The World Health Organization promotes the teaching of weight control early on so young adults, even those with a body mass index and in good health. Women, especially young mothers, are particularly vulnerable to weight gain in early adulthood because of pregnancy and changes in lifestyle associated with marriage and family. (Estimates suggest that women gain about a pound per year in adulthood.) Perhaps most importantly, these women influence health behaviors and eating habits of their families, which in turn can lead children become obese later in adulthood. The main obstacle to the achievement of young mothers and make change in your diet and activity levels is the time. Mothers of young children are perhaps one of the busiest people in a community and their own health and welfare often the background to the needs of the rest of the family.

The response rate for the BMJ study was only 12%, similar to other programs in community-based intervention. However, women who participated achieved significant results, prompting the question of how mothers go to work (or anyone) to participate in a program that focuses on weight? The effort to effectively teach people about healthy eating and lifestyles are probably much less than the multitude of time and resources to treat obesity. From the standpoint of public health and prevention of obesity is greater than any treatment option.

The new study shows that a program of community-based low intensity to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent weight gain may be an effective tool to meet the needs of the world’s health more. The conclusion is that nobody can do it alone. (If they could, there would be no obesity epidemic.) Simple tools for education, with accountability and support of the community, can offer women the confidence to make healthy choices for themselves and their families.

Losing weight is simple – just cut your daily intake of calories and more exercise. When the body feels it can not extract energy from the foods you eat, it starts to burn fat deposits around the waist and other parts of your body. So the most natural way to lose weight is diet, which reduces energy consumption and make a regular exercise to burn energy.

Although this approach to weight loss is the most natural and healthy is not easy. No wonder many weight loss pills have been developed call, making it easier to lose weight. One of the most popular of these pills are fat blockers and fat binders. They work by reducing the amount of fat the body absorbs food. Fat-blocker (the best known example is the orlistat, marketed as Xenical) to inhibit this enzyme in the intestines, especially that breaks down fat making ready for digestion.

As a result, fat can not be absorbed by the body to freely pass through the intestine. Fat binders work by binding with fat molecules, making it once again, not absorbable by the intestine. fat blockers and binders have unpleasant side effects (including failure are uncontrollable anal discharges). Naturally, one can not expect that removing fat from your diet is so healthy.

Another category of supplements for weight loss include loss of appetite. Diminish the appetite for the body believed to be already full. One of the appetite suppressants herbal most popular is Hoodia Gordonii. Hoodia is a cactus that grows as South Africa. Its ability to suppress appetite was well known to the Bushmen who have used it during their long hunting trips. From Hoodia Gordonii is a purely natural process, no side effects associated with synthetic prescription appetite suppression as Phentermine.

Real Hoodia Gordonii Plus helped millions of people around the world to lose weight quickly. While purchasing Hoodia Gordonii online, make sure you have all the certifications necessary to demonstrate that it is false.

You’ve heard time and again, fad diets do not work for permanent weight loss. But what about those times when you really need to lose weight fast? It is difficult to change to the promise of crash diets like the lemonade diet, diet, cabbage soup, or lose 21 pounds in 21 days when his mission is falling into a new team in time for a meeting a wedding or other special event.

So what’s the problem with dropping 20 pounds fast so you can impress your friends and family with a new well-formed?

The truth is that nothing is harder to lose weight quickly – as long as you do it the right way, “said Michael Dansinger, MD. It is the doctor of the NBC show The Biggest Loser, which highlights the rapid weight loss and dramatically.

“Theoretically, it could drop to 20 kilos in one week due to a power and a very ambitious plan year, more than seven hours per week to exercise strict, and under the care of a physician as we do on the television program” he said.

But even if you can not drop everything to go to Weight Loss “Boot Camp”, which certainly can lose 3 pounds or more per week at home with a healthy diet and plenty of exercise, “a weight loss counselor Katherine Tallmadge, RD.

In fact, having a target and seeing a large wedding or a meeting can be a great motivator, if you follow a weight loss plan you can follow after the special event.

But you need to plan and allow enough time to make changes in its form.

“Do not wait a week before the meeting to try to lose 10 pounds,” advises Tara Gidus, MS, RD, nutritionist for the Orlando Magic team.
How to Lose Weight Fast

Losing weight is a simple mathematical formula: it has to burn more calories than you consume. Experts generally recommend creating a deficit of 500 calories per day through a combination of eating fewer calories and increase physical activity. For a week, which should give a loss of about 1-2 kg of fat.

If you want to lose weight faster, you need to eat less and exercise more. In short: 1050-1200 calories and an hour of exercise a day (but be careful not to fall below this level of calories for security reasons). In this type of plan, you can expect to lose 3-5 pounds the first week or more if you weigh over 250 pounds.

“Diet to follow the diet can lose 2 kilos of food, a book of exercises each week, and even if they have more to lose, because the more fat you lose, the faster it goes,” said Dansinger.

You may lose even more weight to the output by limiting the salt and starchy foods.

“By reducing sodium and cutting starches, liquid and reduces water retention, which can cause up to 5 pounds of fluid loss where to start,” said Dansinger.

And to accelerate weight loss even more, be sure to check the diet secrets of the new laws of thinness.

Here’s what to do: Finish the workout three times a week, a day of rest between each session. Do the exercises as a circuit modified, performing one set of each exercise in succession, and resting 30 seconds between shots. Here we make a set of dumbbells in line alternating 30 seconds, and then make a series of squats dumbbells most, and still 30 seconds, and so on. After one set of each exercise, rest for 30 seconds and repeat the circuit two to three times.

As childhood obesity continues to rise, the researchers observed a relationship between what children drink and their expanding waistlines.

While experts stop laying the blame entirely at the feet of soda makers, most acknowledge that people in general and specifically for children, consume more soft drinks.

In an effort to curb the problem, some school districts are removing soda machines in schools – and, some say, for good reason. A 12-ounce soda has 150 calories, 20-oz has 250 calories.

According to the Center for Science in the Public Interest, “Soft drinks are the main source of calories in the American diet, providing about 7 percent of calories.” Non-carbonated beverages (such as fruit juices and teas frozen) to raise this figure to 9 percent.

A study of 548 sixth-and seventh in Boston showed that each 12-ounce soft drink consumption increases the risk of being overweight by 60 percent, according to an article published in the Journal of Pediatrics.

Besides having a high sugar content – which can contribute to weight gain and promote tooth decay – there is little nutrition in a can of soda, only empty calories.

So what should parents do?

A diet rich in fruits, vegetables and whole grains should be the first line of defense. But because of drinking problems as well as what they eat, one option may be to consider replacing soda with a health drink as NuVim, which contains a variety of vitamins, minerals, calcium, small quantities of sugar and caffeine.

Tested and proven in 19 clinical trials for its flexibility and muscle of immuno-stimulant, this beverage contains vitamins A, C and E acid and B12, zinc, calcium and essential amino acids.

NuVim comes in a variety of flavors of fruit and juice in the refrigerated section of your local supermarket.

Here is a list of the top 7 healthiest foods to feed your child and why it’s so healthy:

1. Oats: fabulous breakfast food, full of B vitamins, iron, zinc and calcium. first oatmeal offers many carbohydrates for quick energy and rich in fiber. Add berries and honey to make delicious perfect for quick school day tomorrow!

2. Yogurt: Kick consumption of dairy products from your child a notch and include yogurt on the menu. An excellent source of calcium, yogurt is easier to digest than regular milk, and cultures (check the label to make sure they are there!) Are very beneficial to good colon health. Look at the sugar content though. A good idea is to buy plain yogurt and sweeten it yourself with fresh fruit!

3. Broccoli: One of the best vegetables for everyone, especially young children. It has lots of calcium, potassium, beta carotene and a wide variety of vitamins B If your son is not a fan of fresh vegetables include broccoli in a saucepan and add a little grated cheese on top to add flavor.

4. Protein: One size does not fit all when it comes to protein. The fact is that children need more protein for growth. How are given can vary greatly depending on your preferences. choices are legumes, grains (in combination with a grain to produce a complete protein), soy products like tofu, eggs or lean meat, fish or poultry.

5. Whole grains: the best food is found in whole grains. brown rice and wholemeal bread are a quantum leap in white and offer necessary fiber, minerals and vitamins. Choose grain products with the words “whole” raw “and” intact “or” earth. ”

6. nut butters: peanut butter and other nut butters are quick and easy food for children. Children need fat (fat is a good, if it has no hydrogenated oils mixed in it) and they need the protein. Try sunflower seeds or almond butter spread on crackers, toast or celery sticks for a quick and nutritious snack.

7. Fresh: My personal choice would be cantaloupe in the department. Vitamin C, beta-carotene, vitamins B and parts of trace elements and calcium fill every juicy bite. The fresh fruit season is sure to be full of healthy goodness!
