Sex, Chocolate and Jewelry
Everything old is new again, and we are back to kinder, gentler era in which men and women enjoy sex, chocolate, and jewelry as the language of love.
Our love affair with chocolate
3000 years ago, the Indians of Central America pays the melted chocolate from one pot to another to create bitter drink with foam on top, the party of your choice. Spanish conquistadors and missionaries took the drink back to Europe where it became fashionable among the aristocracy, who added sugar. Now, three centuries later, the hot chocolate is the favorite beverage shared by friends, family … and fans.
For a “pulse of chocolate in the 21st century there is no better place to go to the Fancy Foods Show. This year, the chocolate drink of choice was a hot chocolate reminiscent of the nectar of the gods” preferred by the Maya and Aztecs. Wet processing is performed with a chocolate high in cocoa and dark (in response to low-carbohydrate fever, no doubt) less sugar.
How does the romance of cocoa in shape? Chocolate bars are replacing the cafes and bars alcohol as a meeting place of choice for singles with a taste for love … and sweets. In New York, the center of popular access point “The Chocolate Bar” serves hot drinks, such as classic chocolate hot chocolate, spiced hot chocolate, white chocolate and caramel and chocolate, including chocolate ice Shakers (which are presented on the ice, with coffee and whipped cream)
Our love affair with sex
When it comes to sex, every forty years seems to indicate the arrival of a new wave of permissiveness and freedom. In the 20s, the world has adopted “The era of the Spoon … and another … with abandon. Hard times in the 30 and 40 to end the jazz babies, and gave birth to the harsh, senseless, almost asexual Rosie the Riveters who had no time for the pleasures of the flesh. (And good, too, since men were at war.)
In the ’40s came to an end, the “boys” came home to a booming economy after the war and produced a boom of its own – the baby boomers. And when the baby boomers reached their stride in the 1960s sexual revolution was born …. The free love (and a good number of sexually transmitted diseases!) Were on the agenda.
Power and influence has become “sexy” in the 80s and 90s. At one time the button below recalls the 50s, with children imitating posh dress, manner, and the rituals of the court of his grandparents. That conservatism continues today, but the drums of a new era can be heard on the lifestyle of “next generation.”
Our love affair with jewelry
Over time, men and women wore jewelry for power and for the protection of ghosts, gods, snakes and bill collectors, even! Our ancestors wore jewelry for good reason. personal adornment and use of bright, shiny objects in order to attract a mate is old as the hills. The jewelry is our way of showing the distribution of our peacock feathers “to make a success with the opposite sex.
Put on jewelry and put on protection. (Not the kind!) What we call jewelry is truly the evolution of ornaments has its roots in the charms and talismans of power output. Today, owners of Fashion “Forward covet jewelry classic jewelry, but with a unique touch. Many people today are unique pieces are rooted in cultural and ethnic traditions, interpreted in a decidedly 21st century. The goal is for jewelry to express a link between present and past.
